Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan, who is busy with upcoming war drama ‘Maatrubhumi’, announced his next big project with filmmaker Dil Raju on Monday.
Taking to his X handle, Salman shared a picture with Vamshi Paidipally, who will be directing the film, and wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with @directorvamshi and #DilRaju.”

Shree Venkateswara Productions also took to X and shared: “Salman Khan – A Phenomenon who has delivered countless moments of celebration to audiences across the world … Now joins hands with our very own, dearest blockbuster filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for #SVC63. #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm goes on floors this April… destined for glory.”
Vamshi, who made his directorial debut with the Prabhas-starrer ‘Munna’, has helmed films such as ‘Brindavanam’ with Jr NTR, ‘Yevadu’ starring Ram Charan, ‘Maharshi’ and ‘Varisu’ featuring Vijay.
Producer Dil Raju, on the other hand, has produced over 60 films.
Vamshi and Dil Raju are teaming up with Salman for the first time.
Salman is prepping for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi’, produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
The film features Salman as an Indian Army officer leading his troop against a bigger Chinese force.
The film’s release, initially set for April 17, has been postponed. The new release date is yet to be announced.
