Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a nowcast warning for five districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack till around 6 pm on Friday.
According to the forecast, light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning or light rain may to occur at one or two
places in the districts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Keonjhar, Puri and Balasore within next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
