Mumbai: Isha Rikhi got emotional while opening up about her recent separation from rapper Badshah during the Bigg Boss 20 premiere.
As she reflected on the heartbreak and feeling betrayed, host Salman Khan offered her some candid advice, urging her to leave the past behind and move on.
The Punjabi actress said she decided to end the relationship after her trust was broken.
She became emotional while recalling what happened between her and Badshah, admitting that the experience had a profound impact on her and changed her perspective on relationships.
“I tried really hard because I wanted to get married and settle down. But some experiences change you. I think when your trust is broken in certain relationships, you reach a stage where you start wondering where you went wrong. But whatever I faced, I don’t want to talk about it. I didn’t even realise when I became a side character in my own story. But I don’t have any regrets,” Isha said.
“I am coming to Bigg Boss so that I can step out of that shadow and create my own identity. People should get to know the real Isha, and I want to win the show,” she added.
Later, while speaking with Isha, Salman Khan encouraged her to put the past behind her and move on.
“Sabke breakup hote hain yaar, dekho aapke saamne kaun khada hai. Nobody should get credit of hurting you. The other person has moved on long time ago,” he said.
Isha’s entry into Bigg Boss 20 came shortly after she publicly confirmed her separation from Badshah.
On September 1, the couple, who were reportedly married for around five months, announced their decision to part ways in a joint statement.
They said they had mutually chosen to move forward on separate paths and requested privacy from the public.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship,” the statement read.
