Mumbai: Ameesha Patel has hit back at a netizen who seemingly linked her to cricketer Hardik Pandya after the two were spotted together at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace.
A video of their interaction went viral after Ameesha was seen introducing Hardik to her friends.
An X user subsequently interpreted a casual gesture between the two as a possible sign of romance.
The Gadar actress responded sarcastically, taking a dig at the netizen for reading more into the interaction.
Sharing the viral video of Ameesha and Hardik, the X user wrote, “The way Ameesha Patel put her hand on Hardik Pandya’s shoulder during the party at a hotel in Bengaluru. All the Reddit rumours seem to be coming true.”
Ameesha later took to her Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of the post and call out the netizen for linking her to Hardik.
“So true ya. My god ur correct…truly romantic way my hand was on him,” she wrote sarcastically.
She then took a direct swipe at the person behind the post.
“I don’t know u but surely u don’t have a girl even as a friend. It’s time u do have one before posting hence on such things…,” Ameesha wrote.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is in a relationship with model Mahieka Sharma. Following his separation from Natasa Stankovic, the cricketer made his relationship with Mahieka public in October 2025 by sharing a beach picture with her on Instagram Stories.
On the professional front, Ameesha Patel reprised her iconic role as Sakina in Gadar 2, reuniting with Sunny Deol in the 2023 sequel.
The film emerged as a major box-office success and also starred Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa and Gaurav Chopra in key roles.
Ameesha confirmed in May that Gadar 3 is in the works.
