Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at Mumbai’s Film City on Monday, with videos of the incident quickly circulating online.
As per a report by HT City, the blaze occurred outside the sets of Pati Patni Aur Panga and MTV Hustle 5.
While both teams confirmed the incident, they said there were no casualties and everyone was safe.
“Yes, there was a fire outside the sets. There is no casualty. Nobody was shooting at the set of Pati Patni Aur Panga. There was no shoot happening,” the team told HT City.
According to the Hustle 5 team, the grand finale was being filmed when the fire broke out, with all the artists present at the location. The season features Badshah, EPR, MC Square, Paradox and Agsy, among others.
“All the artists were there. The fire happened suddenly. As of now, there are no casualties and everyone is safe,” the team said.
The team added that the incident occurred while singer Nikita Gandhi was being photographed by the paparazzi at the location.
“Nikita Gandhi’s paparazzi spotting was happening when this unfortunate incident happened,” a source from the Hustle team said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the Hustle 5 team said everyone has temporarily left the sets.
“As soon as this happened, everybody left the sets for now. We also don’t know as of yet what was the cause behind the fire, but good thing, that everyone is safe.”
