Mumbai: Alia Bhatt has sparked fresh speculation about Farhan Akhtar’s long-delayed film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ after sharing a photo dump from her Mallorca getaway with the caption “Jee Le Zaraa”.
The post has caught fans’ attention, with many wondering whether the much-anticipated project, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, could be back on track.
Alia took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo dump from the group’s Mallorca getaway, offering fans a glimpse of their holiday moments.
The album features a group photograph, a video of the actress on a boat, selfies with her friends, scenic views of the Spanish island and a picture of the group enjoying a meal together.
Alia’s red dress is a standout moment in the photo dump, while the rest of the carousel captures the group unwinding, sharing laughs and making the most of their time together away from their hectic schedules.
She captioned the photo dump, writing, “Our Jee le zara.”
Akansha Ranjan Kapoor was quick to poke fun at Alia in the comments section, writing, “So glad those selfies didnt make the cut.”
Akansha, who recently appeared in Gram Chikitsalay Season 2, had also treated fans to glimpses of her Mallorca getaway a few days ago, sharing pictures of the island’s turquoise waters, lush landscapes and quaint streets.
She captioned one of her photo dumps, “This and nothing else.”
She also gave fans a peek at the property where the group was staying, captioning the post, “Somewhere between our dream villa @moritzluxeresidences and Mallorca’s little hidden gems,” along with photos from their holiday.
Alia’s caption also sparked speculation among fans about a possible update on Jee Le Zaraa.

For the unversed, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ was announced in 2021, with Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif set to star in the film, which was to be directed by Farhan Akhtar.
The filmmaker unveiled the project on August 10, 2021, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of his directorial debut, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.
However, the film’s future remains uncertain, with reports suggesting that it was shelved due to unforeseen circumstances.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Farhan Akhtar may revive the project with a fresh cast. However, the filmmaker has yet to offer a concrete update on the film’s status, leaving fans curious about whether Jee Le Zaraa will eventually see the light of day.
Alia has several projects in the pipeline. She will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is slated for a theatrical release in January 2027.
The actress is also set to star in Tumbbad 2, which features Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
