Mumbai: Actor Emraan Hashmi reportedly had a close call during the shoot of ‘Gunmaaster G9’ after an SUV flipped mid-air and crashed onto a black van during a high-risk action sequence.
A behind-the-scenes video of the stunt has surfaced online, drawing attention to the dramatic moment on set.
The clip from the film’s climax shoot shows crew members preparing for the stunt as a countdown is called.
The SUV, suspended from a crane, then rotates upside down in mid-air before crashing onto the roof of the van parked below. The vehicle appears to come dangerously close to the actor.
The footage has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the stunt, although it remains unclear whether the dramatic manoeuvre was part of the planned sequence or the result of an unexpected mishap.
No injuries have been reported so far. The makers are yet to issue a statement clarifying what happened during the shoot, and the exact location where the stunt was filmed remains unknown.
