Mumbai: Anushka Sharma’s recent appearance in Mumbai with husband Virat Kohli has sparked speculation about a possible third pregnancy.
Videos of the couple surfaced online, prompting some social media users to wonder whether the actress was expecting another child.
However, the rumours remain unconfirmed, with neither Anushka nor Virat commenting on the speculation.
The buzz began after the couple attended a live kirtan by American devotional singer Krishna Das at the Dome, SVP Stadium, in Mumbai’s Worli area on Sunday, October 25.
They were also spotted at the Gateway of India before heading to the spiritual music event.
Videos from the event show Anushka clapping and singing along to the devotional chants, with Virat seated beside her.
The footage soon gained traction online, with some users speculating about a possible pregnancy.
Reacting to the viral clip, one user asked, “Anushka is pregnant again?”
Another wrote, “Is it only me who thinks that Anushka Sharma is pregnant?”
A third user joked, “Anushka ko bhi Twitter se hi pata chalta hoga ki voh pregnant hai.”
Despite the online buzz, the couple has not publicly addressed the rumours or confirmed that they are expecting their third child.
Anushka and Virat married in December 2017. They welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, followed by their son, Akaay, in February 2024.
Anushka was last seen on the big screen in Zero, which was released in 2018.
She also completed filming ‘Chakda Xpress’, in which she portrays former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
In February, the film’s director, Prosit Roy, expressed disappointment over the project’s uncertain fate, saying the system had not given it the opportunity it deserved.
“Till today, the handful who saw the film during post keep telling me how much it stayed with them. That’s the real tragedy—it never got to reach everyone it was made for. We gave this film everything we had. Sadly, the system didn’t give it the chance it deserved,” he wrote.
Filming for ‘Chakda Xpress’ wrapped up in 2022, but the film is yet to receive an official release date.
