Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has asked District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) teams in six districts to expedite the preparation and submission of Preliminary Damage Assessment Reports in the aftermath of cyclone Arnab.
Officials said the Housing and Urban Development Department issued the directive on Sunday, asking DUDA teams in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamala, Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada districts to accord top priority to the assessment process and submit the reports at the earliest.
The reports will subsequently be consolidated and forwarded to the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) for necessary action, the department said.
