I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday said they will be asking all TV channels to show the titles in regional languages apart from Hindi or English.
“At present, the credits at the beginning of the show or after the programme are shown in English whether it is a Hindi serial or a regional one. We have asked channels to give the titles in the respective languages,” he said.
This is being done to promote Indian languages and help people know the actors, he added.
