It was fanboy moment for Pintu Behera from Odisha when he got to meet and hug his favourite cricketer and Indian captain Virat Kohli on the eve of the test match against South Africa at Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
What make him special are the 14 tattoos on his body dedicated to Virat and in a way, depicting his cricketing journey.
This 31-year-old from Masiakhali village in Ganjam district has got tattooed Virat’s first name, his jersey number-18 and landmarks in his career, including the 2008 Under-19 World Cup win, 2013 Arjuna Award and the 2017 Padma Shri.
A building contractor by profession, he went topless to display the tattoos to Virat.
“I have been waiting for this moment for more than three years. I am still in disbelief and keep pinching myself,” said Pintu.
