Mumbai: A day ahead of his 60th birthday, senior actor Aamir Khan introduced his Bangalore-based girlfriend Gauri Spratt to media during a press meet held at a Mumbai hotel.
Aamir told media that he is preparing Gauri, who is not from the industry, to handle media madness and requested them to be kind to her as she is not used to all this.
“I have tried to tell her how it will be, the media madness, and prepare her somewhat for it. She isn’t used to it. But we are hoping that you guys will be kind,” the actor said.
Not just this, the actor has also hired private security guards for Gauri to ensure her safety and for his own personal peace.
When asked why did he decide to go public with his relationship now, Aamir said, “We are committed now, and we felt we were secure enough in each other to tell you guys. And this is better, I won’t have to hide things now.”
Meanwhile, Aamir’s lady love Gauri, is the daughter of a Saloon owner Rita Spratt, and has a six-year-old child.
Gauri’s LinkedIn profile states that she is currently running a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
Friends for 25 years, Aamir and Gauri started dating 18 months ago.
