New Delhi: Aarogya Setu, the COVID-19 tracing app, has been integrated with the vaccine registration app CoWIN.
“Need information on COVID-19 Vaccination. Co-WIN details are live on Aarogya Setu. Access Vaccination Information, view Co-WIN Dashboard and download your Vaccination Certificates if you have received at least one dose of COVID-19 Vaccination,” Aarogya Setu’s Twitter handle announced on Thursday.
Now, the public will be able to download vaccination certificates and get other key information on vaccination process from the Aarogya Setu app.
As of now, there are three options on the app — Vaccination Information, Vaccine Certificate and Vaccination Dashboard.
‘Vaccine Information’ has three videos where AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria answers users’ frequently asked questions (FAQs).
‘Vaccination Certificate’ is useful for those who have already received one dose of the vaccine. These users have to enter the 14-digit beneficiary reference ID to download the certificate. They need to use the registered mobile number to complete the process.
‘Vaccination Dashboard’ has information about number of people vaccinated till now, including break-up of states and union territories.
There is the option of ‘Click for detailed insights’ at the bottom of page to know the number of people vaccinated in the area. Users can select a state and district to know total number of sites, sessions, registered beneficiaries and people vaccinated in the area. It also shows gender of those vaccinated and whether they received Covishield or Covaxin.
The first phase of vaccination, for frontline workers, is still underway. The next phase, for people above 50, is expected to start in March.
Currently, CoWIN is not available for download separately, and people should refrain from downloading apps with similar names.
