Khurda: A girl sustained severe burns on her face and eyes in an acid attack at Tangi in Khurda district.
The incident took place when the girl, a student of Tangi Badapari Nodal High School, had gone to nearby Brajagopika Dham with one of her classmates. She was admitted to Tangi medical centre and later shifted to Khurda hospital in a critical condition.

A classmate of hers is allegedly involved in the acid attack.
Tangi police have registered a case and investigating into the matter.
