Mumbai: Senior actor Aditya Pancholi, who has played the hero on big screen for years, now wishes to turn into a real-life hero by donating his body for medical research and education.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the actor has pledged to donate his body after death, to pave the way for future developments in medical science and healthcare.
Speaking about his noble vow, Aditya said, “As actors, we often portray heroes on screen, but true heroism lies in giving back to society in meaningful ways. By donating my body, I hope to inspire others to consider this act of giving, which can make a real difference to humanity. It’s a small step to ensure that even in death, I can continue to contribute to the world.”
Aditya, who has two children with wife and actress Zarina Wahab, was recently in news for the wrong reasons.
In 2017, actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut had accused Aditya of physical and sexual assault. Aditya’s son Sooraj Pancholi was also an accused in the Jiah Khan suicide case.
