Hyderabad: In a big relief for Allu Arjun, the Nampally court on Friday granted regular bail to the ‘Pushpa 2’ actor in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
After hearing arguments from the lawyers of both sides, Allu’s advocate Ashok Reddy told PTI that the court had directed the actor to furnish two sureties of Rs 50,000 each.
Reddy also said Allu has to appear before the investigating officer on Sunday.
On December 4, Allu Arjun attended the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The crowd went berserk to catch a glimpse of the actor, leading to a stampede which left a woman dead and her minor son critically injured.
On December 13, the actor was arrested from his Jubilee Hills residence and later granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court.
