Actor Shweta Tiwari’s husband Abhinav Kohli was reportedly arrested in Mumbai on Monday. The actor had filed a complaint against Kohli for slapping her daughter, Palak.
Shweta lodged a complaint at Samta Nagar Police Station, Kandivali (E) where she was accompanied by her mother and daughter. She alleged that Kohli abuses her and is usually under the influence of alcohol.
Kohli was questioned by the police for four hours, according to media reports.
Shweta married Abhinav in July 2013 and they have a two-year-old son.
Palak is Shweta’s daughter from her previous marriage to Raja Chaudhary.
Shweta Tiwari is known for Star Plus’ hit show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Her daughter Palak is rumoured to be part of an upcoming movie ‘Quickie’, which stars Darsheel Safary in the lead.
