Mumbai: Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz was on Monday, arrested by the Gondia police in Maharashtra for allegedly molesting a crew member.
“Actor Vijay Raaz was arrested from Gondia yesterday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. A case has been registered: Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia,” ANI tweeted.

As per a Mumbai Mirror report, 57-year-old Raaz was taken to Ramnagar Police Station and has been reportedly granted bail. The actor was apparently shooting for Sherni in Madhya Pradesh, the police informed.
Sherni stars actress Vidya Balan in the lead role. After Raaz’s arrest on Monday night, shooting has been stopped of the movie, The Times of India reported.
Raaz was last seen in the Netflix series A Suitable Boy. He is known for his roles in Welcome, Delhi Belly, Dedh Ishqiya, Dhamaal, etc.
