Mumbai: Actress Taapsee Pannu on Wednesday came out in support of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik, who was granted bail by a special NDPS court.
On Wednesday, she tweeted “Scarred a family for life,” after Showik got out of jail after three months. The court had observed that the charge of
“illicit drugs” financing does not apply to Showik in the drug case registered by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which was linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He was arrested in September this year.
“Karma isn’t too far away from those who made a foul cry of justice in the name of personal vendetta,” she added.
Earlier, the ‘Pink’ actress had supported Rhea saying, ” Every woman who is with a relatively more successful man is NOT a ‘gold digger’ and for the rest, truth and investigating agencies will do their job. One step at a time.”
