Aditya Death Case: Crime Branch Questions His Wife, Parents In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch officials on Friday questioned the wife and other family members of motivational speaker Aditya Dash as a part of investigation into his death.

According to sources, a three-member special team of the Crime Branch of Odisha Police made the questioning to Aditya’s wife Bidyashree and his parents in his house at Sundarpada here for around four and a half hours.

The questions mostly centred around the reported fight between the couple on the day of Aditya’s death and why Bidyashree had gone to her parents thereafter.

Earlier, the Crime Branch SP had visited the site where the body of Aditya was found. Aditya’s friends Bikash, Pappu and Pritam have already been questioned.

Aditya was found dead beside railway tracks near Lingaraj Railway station. After GRP failed to make any progress in the investigation, Director General of Police ordered the Crime Branch to take up the probe on July 30.
