Bhubaneswar: Continuing its investigation into the death of motivational speaker Aditya Das, Government Railway Police (GRP) on Saturday interrogated his wife Bidyashree, mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
According to sources, a four-member GRP team interrogated Bidyashree at her home for more than 3 hours. Bidyashree was reportedly asked who had put the signature in Aditya’s suicide note, what was the reason behind his alleged suicide, who was looking after the financial affairs of the NGO run by him and others.
During the interrogation of Bidyashree’s mother, the investigating team mostly asked about the relation between Aditya and Bidyashree and with the in-law family.
While the autopsy report has revealed that Aditya had sustained a head injury that led to his death, the loco pilot of Purushottam Express Bishnu Charan Sethi has claimed that nobody came under the train which crossed the Lingaraj Station Passenger Halt at around 8.30 pm on the night of the incident.
Aditya’s body was found from the railway tracks near the Lingaraj railway station, here on July 7.
