Bhubaneswar: A day after residents complained about the sale of adulterated petrol, the filling station at Baramunda in the Odisha capital was sealed on Thursday after a team of officials from the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) collected samples for examination.
According to sources, the SFSL team have begun the test of petrol and diesel in presence of the senior officials of the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and Commissionerate Police.
The licence of the fuel station will be suspended in the case of detection of adulteration in the test, said an official of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
