After Deepika & Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ Row, Rashmika Mandanna Says She’s Open To Long Shoot Hours

Hyderabad: After the fallout between Deepika Padukone and Sandeep Reddy Vanga over working hours, several celebrities shared their perspective on the issue.

The latest to join the bandwagon is Rashmika Mandanna, who stressed on the importance of clear communication between actors and filmmakers.

“Today the whole country is debating about flexible hours, but that is for discussion amongst the teams and figuring out what works for them. It’s their personal choices,” Rashmika stated during an interview with Mojo Story.

The actress further said that she has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu film industries, which have different work schedules.

Rashmika said that she is open to long shoot hours.

“I do work in multiple industries, like the South – Telugu, Kannada, or Tamil, where we work 9 am to 6 pm. In Hindi, it’s a 9 am to 9 pm shift. I am open to both because this is what my film requires,” she shared.

“Some films you can start 9 am to 9 pm, but they carry on till the next day, so you’re working like 36 hours. There are much worse scenarios happening where you are working 2-3 days without going home,” she added.

On the work front, Rashmika was recently seen in ‘Kuberaa’, along with Dhanush and Nagarjuna. The film was released on June 20.
