After Delhi Blast, Several CRPF Schools In Different Cities Get Bomb Threat

New Delhi: Two days after an explosion damaged the wall of a CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini area, several other CRPF schools, including two in Delhi and one in Hyderabad, received bomb threats via e-mail, according to reports,

The e-mails were sent on Monday night (October 21) to the school administration, India Today reported, quoting sources.

Reports claimed that a CRPF school in Tamil Nadu was the first to get the threat, Thereafter, an alert was sent out to all the affiliated schools in the country. Delhi Police claimed that the threats were a hoax, India Today reported.

Fresh bomb threats affect at least 10 IndiGo flights

Meanwhile, IndiGo Airlines reported a series of fresh threats affecting 10 of its flights, mainly on international routes, on Tuesday.

This comes at a time when multiple hoax calls pushed the total number of such threats received by the airline this week to more than 100.

Among the affected flights was Flight 6E 164 from Mangaluru to Mumbai. After it received a security alert, passengers were safely disembarked and checks were conducted.

Similarly, Flight 6E 75 from Ahmedabad to Jeddah was taken to the isolation bay upon landing. Its passengers were safely evacuated.

Other affected flights include Flight 6E 118 from Lucknow to Pune, Flight 6E 67 from Hyderabad to Jeddah, Flight 6E 18 from Istanbul to Mumbai, Flight 6E 83 from Delhi to Dammam, Flight 6E 77 from Bengaluru to Jeddah (diverted to Doha), Flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi, Flight 6E 65 from Kozhikode to Jeddah (diverted to Riyadh) and Flight 6E 63 from Delhi to Jeddah (diverted to Medina).
