‘Jana Nayagan’ has faced several hurdles before its release.
The film was completed before Vijay took oath as the Chief Minister, but its release was delayed due to multiple issues. One of the biggest reasons was the long wait for censor certification, which created uncertainty over the release date.
The film also suffered a major setback when over five minutes of footage, including Vijay’s introduction scene and other important sequences, leaked online before it received censor clearance.
Later, reports claimed that a high-quality version of the film had surfaced on the internet, forcing the makers to issue legal notices and approach the court to stop its circulation.
Despite these setbacks, fans have continued to eagerly await the film’s release.
