Mumbai: After Ranbir Kapoor, it’s the turn of Kapil Sharma and Huma Qureshi to be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with its probe into the Mahadev online betting app case.
According to officials, comedian Kapil Sharma has been called for attending the success party of Mahadev Book app in Dubai in September 2022, while actors Huma and Hina Khan’s summons are because of alleged promotion of the app.
Earlier today, Ranbir sought two weeks’ time to appear in person before the central probe agency.
A number of Bollywood actors and singers are under ED’s scanner in connection with the investigation.
