Ahead Of Chandrayaan-3 Landing, Check Cut ‘Moon Anthem’

New Delhi: The entire country holds its breath and prays for Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing on lunar surface.

To mark the special moment, poet and diplomat Abhay K has written a ‘Moon Anthem’ in which he refers to the Moon as a ‘celestial diamond’.

The song, sung by renowned playback singer Kavita Krishnamurti with music composed by accomplished violinist and composer L Subramaniam, has been uploaded on YouTube.

“As #Chandrayaan 3 is approaching landing on the #Moon, here is a #MoonAnthem to celebrate the occasion. It has been sung by Kavita Krishnamurti, music has been composed Dr L. Subramaniam,” Abhay wrote on X and shared the YouTube link of the song.

Abhay previously wrote anthems for all planets in the solar system. His ‘Earth Anthem’, translated into more than 150 languages, is sung worldwide to commemorate ‘Earth Day’ and ‘World Environment Day’ every year.

According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS) of the Lander Module (LM) Vikram Lander will be initiated around 5.44 pm. Vikram Lander is scheduled to touch down at 6.04 pm.
