Dubai: There is no love lost between the cricketers of India and Pakistan when they confront each other on the field. But off the pitch, the players forget the intense rivalry and are best of pals.
One such Indo-Pak camaraderie was on display ahead of Sunday’s blockbuster Asia Cup clash at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with both captains exchanging notes on the sidelines of their practice session.
Pakistan Cricket shared a video in which Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam are seen in a jovial mood as they catch up over a lengthy chat.

Babar earlier met former India skipper Virat Kohli before India’s nets session. That video, shared by the BCCI showing Kohli exchanging pleasantries with the Pakistan star, also sent social media into a frenzy.
The six-team Asia Cup gets underway on Saturday evening with a Group B game between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The other team in this group is Bangladesh.
Group B comprises India, Pakistan and qualifiers Hong Kong. Following their clash on Sunday, India and Pakistan are almost certain to face off again the Super Fours fixture (A1 vs A2) on September 4.
