New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made available the e-learning resources at the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) for free to the students.
Amid the countrywide lockdown, any student from school to undergraduate level can log-in and register at ndl.gov.in and ndl.iitkgp.ac.in and get access to the relevant content.
The AICTE in its official circular said, “To help the student community in the difficult situation arising out of the suspension of physical classes and closure of physical libraries arising out of COVID-19 lockdown, the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) has initiated specially designed collections of e-resources for a specific group of students.”
In another circular, the AICTE also advised the affiliated institutions to pay the salaries of the teachers and staff. It said that the non-payment of salaries would lead to financial problems during the lockdown due to COVID-19.
