Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has written to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar director to accommodate those testing positive for COVID-19 in their facility at the 200-bed wing with 20 ICU set up at the institute.
The letter said that 10 COVID-19 cases have detected in the OPD and IPD of the hospital in the last five days and those patients have been shifted to IMS SUM Hospital Bhubaneswar or KIIM Bhubaneswar.
To avoid congestion at these dedicated COVID hospitals, the DMET requested the AIIMS authorities to accommodate such cases at their level.
