Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIIMS-Bhubaneswar to extend quality healthcare services for economically-backward patients under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY).
The hospital signed the MoU with the state health and family welfare department in the presence of Health Minister Naba Kishore Das, secretary Pramod Kumar Meherda and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar director Gitanjali Batmanabane.
AIIMS-Bhubaneswar will from now onwards provide free treatment to needy patients under the BSKY. The Health Minister also attended a meeting with the management of private hospitals and discussed about BSKY.
