Bhubaneswar: Passengers of a Bhubaneswar-bound Air Asia flight reportedly had to remain without food for more than 12 hours.

According to sources, an Air Asia flight FD-112 carrying 150 passengers from Bangkok was on the way to Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. As the flight could not land at Biju Patnaik International Airport due to dense fog, it was diverted to Kolkata.

After reaching the airport, the passengers were asked to remain seated inside the plane for about two hours. The airline crews then asked them to move to the lounge of the airport to wait for the flight till weather improves in Bhubaneswar.

Informing the media, the irate passengers alleged that the flight crews, who are yet to confirm about the flight to Bhubaneswar, have not served them any food since Tuesday afternoon.
