Air India Opens Bookings For Both Domestic & International Flights
Mumbai: State-run Air India on Saturday reopened bookings for select domestic flights from May 4 onwards. International flights can be booked for travel from June 1.
“In the light of the ongoing global health concerns, we have currently stopped accepting bookings on all domestic flights for travel till May 3, 2020, and on all international flights for travel till May 31, 2020,” Air India said in a notification.
Previously, the airline had stopped taking bookings for flights from April 3. The national carrier has been operating its cargo fleet carrying essential commodities throughout the country.
The nationwide lockdown imposed on March 25 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will end on May 3.
For international travel, bookings have started for UK, Germany, Israel, China, Seychelles, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Maldives amongst others.
