Bhubaneswar: A day after a former woman employee accused Air Odisha Director (Operations) Santosh Pani of rape, GSEC Monarch Decan Aviation Pvt Ltd, the major shareholder in the airline, on Thursday suspended him from the post.
An official statement issued by the company said, “Based on the alleged involvement, his employment is revoked with immediate effect and he is no longer in services of Air Odisha Aviation Pvt Ltd.”
At present, Pani doesn’t hold any directorship or shareholding in the company, it added.
