Air Odisha Launches Bhubaneswar-Raipur Flight

Bhubaneswar: The Air Odisha began its maiden flight from Bhubaneswar to Raipur on Friday morning.

The flight left Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 6.10 am and arrived at Raipur at 6.55 am.

The flight was flagged off by the director of Biju Patnaik International Airport, Suresh Chandra Hota.

Though it took only 45 minutes for the flight to reach Raipur, the timing of the scheduled flight will be revised from Saturday.

“From Saturday onwards, the flight will leave Biju Patnaik International Airport at 6.10 am and reach Raipur at 7.40 am. The flight will leave Raipur at 12.15 pm and arrive here at 1.40 pm,” Hota added.

As informed by the Air Odisha authorities, the flight service from Bhubaneswar to Raipur will be six days in a week.

The flight can carry a maximum of 18 passengers. The fare for each passenger from Bhubaneswar to Raipur is Rs 4,500.
