New Delhi: Airtel Digital TV on Thursday introduced new base plans named Basic Service Tier (BST) packs, keeping in view the new guidelines set by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).
Unlike other base packs, which offer only free to air channels, these BST packs have choices in terms of language or genre. The detailed packs can be viewed on the company’s website. Currently, there are two options – BST ROI (Rest of India) Pack and BST South Pack. Both the packs are priced at Rs 153 per month for 100 channels.
As all subscribers are required to migrate to the new TRAI tariff structure, all DTH (Direct-To-Home) companies have modified their combo, add-on, long duration packs according to TRAI. Dish TV recently unveiled new HD add-on plans based on these guidelines.
