Akhil Mishra’s 6th Book Of Odia Poems ‘Mahajagya’ Depicts Human Hopes & Aspirations
Bhubaneswar: Eminent poet Akhil Kumar Mishra’s sixth book of Odia poems was released virtually on Saturday.
The book, titled ‘Mahajagya’ and published by Dakhya Books, is a depiction of hopes, aspirations and ambitions of human beings, and the myriad challenges they face during the course of their life.
According to Akhil Mishra, the book is an effort to strengthen invaluable human relationship among individuals.
Additional Director General Rajinder Chaudhry, one of the guests in the virtual launch, hoped that the book will help in inculcating reading habits.
Sarala award winner Dr Hrushikesh Mallick stated that the collection of poems will help in alleviating human sorrow and provide constant joy to every individual.
Researcher and singer Dr Mamata Tripathi said that the different stages of human life have been portrayed magnificently in ‘Mahajagya’.
Publisher Dr Suniti Mund expressed the hope that the book will be hugely appreciated by readers, while Professor Bijay Satapathy and writer Bijayananda Singh opined that it is a magnificent narration of human values and ethos.
Poet Pradip Biswal also attended the programme, along with intellectuals and readers from different parts of the country.
