Akshay Kumar Urges Youngsters To Stay Away From Drugs At Bhubaneswar Event



Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who was in Bhubaneswar to attend a private event, praised the capital city of Odisha and urged youngsters to stay away from drugs.

“I request all the young people to stay away from drugs and always respect your parents. They are the biggest strength in your life,” ANI quoted Akshay as saying at the event where a big crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor.

Thanking the people of Bhubaneswar for their affection, Akki added, “Ye ek sundar aur pavitra shehar hai (This is a beautiful and holy city). I have come here before as wel

The actor inaugurated a jewellery store in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

Earlier this month, the actor had made a brief transit stop at Biju Patnaik International Airport while travelling from Jodhpur to Vietnam.

Akshay has always been vocal about societal issues and been part of advertisements promoting women’s hygiene and discouraging smoking.

On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Priyadarshan’s ‘Haiwaan’, along with Saif Ali Khan and Sayami Kher among others.

Produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films, and jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn, the film is slated for a 2026 release.
