Puri: As Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar turned 58, international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Tuesday created a sand sculpture on Puri beach in Odisha to extend birthday greetings to the actor on his special day.
“Warm wishes on your special day! Your incredible contributions to society and your efforts in spreading impactful messages through cinema and beyond are truly inspiring,” Pattnaik wrote in a post on X along with the work of art.
Meanwhile, the Khiladi Kumar, who also celebrated his 34 years in the film industry, expressed gratitude to those who believed in him and have been part of his journey. “58 years in the making, 34 years in this industry, over 150 films & counting. To everyone that ever believed in me, who bought a ticket, who signed me, produced me, directed me and guided me, this is your journey as much as mine. I’m just here to say an eternal ‘Thank You’ for every kind action, unconditional support, and words of encouragement. I am nothing without you. My birthday is a dedication to all those that still believe in me (sic),” the actor posted on Instagram along with a a customised artwork capturing his career and cinematic milestones.
“Many thanks to the very talented Rahul Nanda for capturing my life’s work for my favourite people on the planet, my Fans,” he added acknowledging the artist behind the creation with some of his most iconic characters from over 150 films arranged like planetary rings.
