Alert Conductor Saves Passengers’ Lives After Bus Driver Suffers Heart Attack In Odisha’s Puri
Puri: All 49 passengers travelling in a bus in Puri district on Tuesday escaped unhurt after the conductor showed presence of mind and slammed the brakes within seconds of the driver suffering a massive heart attack and collapsing on the steering wheel.
The incident happened near Nagapur in Puri district. The bus, which had left Nagapur bus stand in Puri district, was going to Cuttack.
The driver was identified as Sudarshan Sahu from Gop. He was rushed to Gop Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
