Mumbai: Bollywood is set to shine on the global stage once again as Alia Bhatt has been announced as one of the presenters at the 2026 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards.
The grand ceremony, scheduled for February 22, will see the actress sharing the stage with an impressive lineup of international stars including Cillian Murphy, Kate Hudson and Sadie Sink.
Alia’s inclusion in the star-studded presenter list highlights the growing presence of Indian talent at prestigious international platforms.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was presenter at the 2021 BAFTAs, followed by Deepika Padukone in 2024.
Now, it’s Alia’s turn to represent India on one of cinema’s most celebrated nights.
The other high-profile presenters confirmed by BAFTA include Bryan Cranston, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Patrick Dempsey, Riz Ahmed, Alicia Vikander, Regé-Jean Page, Stormzy and Warwick Davis.
Several nominees will also take on presenting duties, adding excitement to the evening.
