Mumbai: Amid the Sandhya theatre stampede controversy and ongoing legal woes, ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun and his family came together to celebrate the actor’s father Allu Aravind’s 76th birthday on January 10.
Aravind, a renowned film producer, cut a cake on which it was written ‘Pushpa ka baap’ (Pushpa’s father).
The filmmaker’s younger son Allu Sirish posted a glimpse of his birthday celebration on X.
“Happy birthday Dad! Have a great year ahead. Best ever cake made by his friends for him! #AlluArvind,” wrote Sirish, revealing that his father’s friends had got the Pushpa-themed birthday cake for him.
The huge chocolate cake also features other Pushpa-themed stuff, like a lime garland representing Arjun’s jatara look, the imprint of his hand, fire, a film reel, red sandalwood logs, and more.
Netizens loved the cake and took to the comment section to wish the producer.
A user posted, “Best birthday wishes to the OG! Bet that cake was the highlight of the year!”
Another wrote, “Hope the cake was as legendary as the dad himself!”
Allu Arjun’s wife Sneha Reddy took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of her father-in-law looking cheerful as he cuts the birthday cake at home.
In the picture, the filmmaker can be seen surrounded by his wife Nirmala, sons Arjun, Sirish, and Bobby, and the other family members.
Helmed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is breaking all box-office records.
Aravind has produced several iconic films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi including ‘Ghajini’, ‘Magadheera’, ‘Sarrainodu’ and ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramulo’.
