Hyderabad: South superstars, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, once had a fallout and didn’t speak to each other for nearly 18 years because of a Bollywood actress.
Yes, you read it right. The actors, who hail from influential families from the industry and are cousins, once had a strained relationship because of actress Neha Sharma.
According to reports, during Neha’s initial days in the Telugu film industry, Arjun was romantically involved with her and was even planning to marry her. However, when Neha shared screen space with Ram Charan in ‘Chirutha’, rumours about their closeness started doing the rounds.
This eventually led to the fallout between Arjun and Ram and the duo even stopped talking to each other and unfollowed each other on social media, ETimes reported.
Fans were quick to notice that Ram Charan follows Arjun’s brother, Allu Sirish, and not him, while Arjun follows only his wife, Sneha Reddy.
However, neither Ram nor Arjun have addressed reports of their strained relationship publicly.
Meanwhile, both the actors are celebrated across the country. While Ram Charan gained international acclaim with ‘RRR’, Allu Arjun gained pan-Indian appeal with ‘Pushpa’.
Allu Arjun will be next seen in Atlee’s upcoming film along with Deepika Padukone.
Ram Charan, on the other hand, is busy shooting for ‘Peddi.’
