Allu Arjun To Play Quadruple Roles In Atlee’s ‘AA22 X A6’: Report

Hyderabad: After leaving cash registers ringing at the box office with ‘Pushpa 2’, Allu Arjun is set to take up a new challenge with quadruple roles in Atlee’s upcoming film ‘AA22 X A6’.

The actor will be breathing life into an entire family tree by playing the role of a grandfather, a father, and two sons, revealed sources close to the project.

“It’s a first for him and a cinematic challenge few would dare attempt. He’s breathing life into an entire family tree,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

Initially, the actor was supposed to play a double role in the film, and the director was planning to rope in other actors to portray the grandfather and father.

However, it was Allu who suggested that he will play all four characters.

“Atlee was sceptical initially, but once they conducted look tests, he was convinced. It wasn’t just working—it was elevating the film to another level. Viewers will get to witness four distinct shades of Allu Arjun in one film,” the source added.

Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, shooting of the film is already underway in Mumbai, and expected to be completed in second half of 2026.

“Post-production has already begun alongside shooting, allowing actors and technicians to track the output in real time. This approach reflects the team’s commitment to delivering a global cinematic experience. The release date will be unveiled with a visually loaded promo that’s currently in the works,” the insider said.

The makers are aiming for a worldwide theatrical release in late 2026 or early 2027.

Besides Allu Arjun, the film also features Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur in key roles.
