Bhubaneswar: The Department of Commerce and Transport is set to roll out its new WhatsApp chatbot, ‘Ama Rasta’, aimed at strengthening road safety and accident response across Odisha.

Through this service, citizens can instantly report road accidents. Once a message is received, alerts will be automatically relayed to the nearest RTO, Police, Master Trainer, Rescuer, and Junior Rescuer, ensuring rapid coordination and timely intervention.
Officials believe the initiative will make accident reporting faster, more accessible, and more effective, ultimately saving lives and improving road safety management across the state.
