Amazon has launched the new 10th generation Kindle Oasis with large 7-inch Paperwhite display in India. Here are the prices:
8GB Wi-Fi variant – Rs 21,999
32GB Wi-Fi variant – Rs 24,999
32GB Wi-Fi and 4G variant – 28,999
The Kindle Oasis uses a new generation of e-Ink technology that makes page turns faster. The colour tone can be adjusted from cool to warm on the 300ppi screen. The colour temperature can also be scheduled according to time of day. Amazon claims it can be used using a single hand. It is IPX8 rated that can protect it in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes. The battery can last weeks on a single charge, claims Amazon.
The new device, which was unveiled on Wednesday, comes with a 3-month Kindle subscription at Rs 2.
It will be available in two colour options – Graphite and Champagne Gold. Amazon has started taking pre-orders and the Sale will begin on August 19.
