New Delhi: Amazon India is all set to host a sale after a long time. This sale as the name suggests will exclusively be for Amazon Prime subscription members.
The sale, which usually takes place in July, will start at midnight on August 6 and will go on till 11:59 pm on August 7. The delay is because of lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two-day sale will see 300 new product launches on Amazon as well as discounts and cashbacks.
However, users living in containment areas will not be able to take advantage of the deals. Amazon’s app will mention “Delivering only essentials in your location” if your area is not serviceable.
There will be exclusive discounts on laptops, mobiles, appliances, beauty, fashion and other products along with no-cost EMI offers and instant discounts for HDFC card-holders.
A few new titles will also be released on Amazon Prime Video during the period. The main ones are Shakuntala Devi, Bandish Bandits, Birds of Prey and Will Smith-starer Gemini Man.
Amazon Prime memberships cost either Rs 129 per month or Rs 999 per year.
