Ambanis To Hold Mass Wedding For Underprivileged Ahead of Anant and Radhika’s Marriage

New Delhi: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita will be hosting a mass wedding ceremony for underprivileged people ahead of their son Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant. On Saturday, news agency ANI reported that the mass wedding has been organised for July 2 and will take place at the Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar.

“As part of the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, a mass wedding of the underprivileged has been organised at 4:30 pm on 2nd July, at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar,” ANI’s post on X read.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, will tie the knot at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Guests have started receiving the ‘Save The Date’ invitation, which is a traditional red and gold card, disclosing some details of the three-day function.

The wedding ceremonies will kick off on July 12. The first ceremony will be the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC, News18 reported.

The distribution of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding invite began earlier this month with Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer the invite and seek God’s blessings. “I have just got Baba Bholenath’s darshan. I am feeling very blessed…As per the Hindu tradition, we first take blessings of the Lord. I have offered the wedding invite to Baba…I am very happy. I have come here after 10 years. I am happy to see the development and Kashi Vishwanath corridor, NaMo Ghat, solar energy plants and cleanliness. I am very happy to see the change,” she told the media after her darshan.
