Mumbai: Mumbai Police’s chargesheet in the Baba Siddique murder case has revealed that Salman Khan was the main target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
However, when their plot to eliminate the Bollywood superstar failed due to the his beefed-up security, they targeted his close friend, politician Baba Siddique.
The chargesheet has identified Anmol Bishnoi as the mastermind behind the murder of Baba Siddique on October 12, 2024.
After executing plan B, the gang justified the action by falsely linking Siddique to terrorist Dawood Ibrahim.
Following death threats from Bishnoi gang and the shooting incident outside his house in 2024, Salman’s Galaxy Apartment has been upgraded with bulletproof glass.
After extensive renovation work, Salman’s apartment in Bandra now has a bulletproof balcony, a modern security system and high-resolution CCTV cameras, according to an ANI report.
Salman resides on the ground floor of Galaxy Apartment, while his parents live on the first floor.

Former Maharashtra minister Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder.
The gang also issued death threats to Salman over his involvement in the black buck poaching case in 1998.
On April 14, two bike-borne men fired four rounds at the actor’s residence and fled. The miscreants are believed to be associated with the Bishnoi gang.
On the work front, Salman will be soon in ‘Sikandar’ along with Rashmika Mandanna. Despite safety concerns, the actor completed shooting for the film amid tight security.
