Mumbai: It’s known to all that all is not well in Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s paradise of late, as the couple has been staying separately for quite some time now.
Amid rumours of divorce, the couple has not spoken about each other or their relationship status in public.
However, while promoting his upcoming film ‘I Want To Talk’, Abhishek shared how his daughter Aaradhya inspired him to face challenges and never give up.
Recollecting the time when young Aaradhya was reading a book, in which “the character described the most courageous word in the world as ‘help’,” Abhishek said that asking for help means a person wants to carry on despite the hardships.
This incident inspired him to take up a tough and challenging role in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk,’ as Arjun — the character he is portraying in the film — also has a ‘never-say-die’ attitude.
“He is not afraid to ask for help. He is not afraid to go to the hospital. He is not giving up,” Abhishek said about Arjun’s characteristics.
‘I Want To Talk’ revolves around a man who undergoes a throat surgery and goes through a lot of hardships while recovering.
“Somebody who has dealt with the things that he has dealt with and continues to deal with, it’s very easy to be fed up after 31-odd years and say ‘bahut ho gaya hai, abhi aur nahi karna hai’ (I’ve had enough, I don’t want to go on). But no, the fact that he is still at it, still trying… is what makes him truly courageous,” said the actor.
‘I Want to Talk’ also stars Johnny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Ronnie Lahiri and Shoojit Sircar under Rising Sun Films, the film is slated to hit theatres on November 22.
